If you are looking at one of our systems but would prefer a case from a different system just let us know which and we will make the change. Changes within the intel i5 and Ryzen R5 ranges will be free of charge, as will
intel i7 and Ryzen R7, also changes between intel i3 and Ryzen R3 will be free of charge
As with the AMD Ryzen 3, the Intel i3 is a perfect starting point for a good and capable gaming system. Pair the Intel i3 processor with either an AMD radeon RX 560 2GB or Nvidia GTX 1050 to get very pleasing results at 1080p resolution. Play many of your favourite games at medium to high settings. Currently there are two choices of i3 processors, the locked i3 8100 which can not be overclocked, which is great for those who are not into overclocking and just want a system to do its job. Then there is the i3 8350k that can be overclocked and comes with a higher base clock out of the box.
To get the best out of your Intel i3 based system we would recommend the 8350k with the Nvidia GTX 1060 or the Radeon RX580, be VR ready and more capable further into the future.
Crank the settings to very high and ultra and still get very good frame rates on most AAA titles at 1080p.
If you have or will be getting a monitor that supports a 1440p resolution? This system will enable you to push into that higher resolution with a good frame rate while keeping the graphical fidelity high.
Like our AMD R3 Gaming systems our Intel core i3 systems come with an ATX type motherboard, there are no Small form factor boards in any.
The upgrade path on the i3 systems is very good, in the future having an 8th generation Intel core i5 or core i7 fitted into the same motherboard is possible, as would be upgrading the graphics card at the same time (max Nvidia 1070 recommended on current power supply), adding extra Memory and hard drives is also possible.
Our Intel Core i5 systems makes a very good gaming and multitasking platform. Like the i3 there are two choices of processor, the locked 6 core 6 thread 8400 and the unlocked 6 core 6 thread 8600k, both have turbo boost, but the 8600k turbos slightly higher to 4.3 ghz and has a higher base clock of 3.6ghz to the 8400 base of 2.8ghz and turbo of 4ghz. Breeze through all of your games with Beautiful graphics and smoothness. Have a second screen active browsing the internet or even be recording or streaming your game play using a platform such as Twitch or Youtube. Pair your Intel Core i5 with an Nvidia GTX 1060 or Radeon rx580 to get very good graphics and frame rates on most of the games you love even at a 1440p resolution
Push the experience one step further (upto 50%) with one of our Nvidia GTX 1070 or AMD vega 56 systems, have great graphics and frame rates with ultra smooth game play at 1080p and 1440p (Monitor dependant)
If you have or will be getting a high refresh rate monitor of 1440p resolution or higher we'd recommend one of our Intel Core i5 systems with an Nvidia GTX 1080, or push it to the max with an Nvidia GTX 1080Ti for flawless game play in today's games including VR use with the Oculus rift or HTC vive
The upgrade path on the i5 systems is also very good, in the future having an 8th generation Intel core i7 fitted into the same motherboard is possible, all other components can remain. Graphics cards can be upgraded to a single 1080Ti, adding extra Memory and hard drives is also possible.

As with the i3 and i5 there are currently two versions of the Core i7, the 8700 and 8700k, the 8700 is a locked 6 core 12 thread cpu with a base clock of 3.2 GHz and turbo of upto 4.6Ghz, whereas the 8700k is an unlocked 6 core 6 thread cpu with a base clock of 3.7Ghz and turbo to 4.7Ghz
All of our Intel Core i7 systems come complete with black Braided power cables fitted to its fully modular power supply. They look great and allow for better air flow within the case.
If you would like them in a different colour Just choose the colour you would like within the menu when completing your purchase.
The current 8th generation Core processors are all compatible with the current Z370 chipset/ motherboards, upgrading from the current i3 all the way up to the i7 is possible. Will the next generation of Core i processors still be compatible with the Z370 motherboards? That is currently unknown. Graphics cards, ram and storage will all be up-gradable.
